Dolly comes from Jetta's 2nd breeding to a male I greatly admired.  Beside for being handsome this boy was very enjoyable to watch in the trials.  He was quite the thinking boy out there and at times he seemed to feel he did not need his handler out there as he knew what needed to be done and how to do it.  He was WTCH HCH CH DC Thatldu's Boomerang Chance HXas RTD(sc) NA NAJ STD(dsc) JHD CD Canadian HX NAJ or simply called Boomer.   This was definately one of my most favorite breedings.  We got dogs with very nice structure, good balanced movement, very intelligent and most of all a strong desire to work.   While Dolly never got her titles in herding she has shown very good working instincts on both cattle and sheep.  I feel with these 2 dogs as parents and with their pedigree, we should come up with dogs that truely can do it all.  Good looks and good work ethics.  Pups should have lots of drive and strong personalities.  These will pups that like to do..herding, performance, hiking, trail riding, etc.

We are breeding for drive, intelligence and working ability with correct structure and a stable temperment.  Both parents have strong focus, the ability to think on the spot and the desire to get the job done. We expect strong workers and dogs that will also do well in the performance venues.   If interested in this breeding contact me at

               SPRING 2010 BREEDING
Icee's sire Tabu was truly one of my very favorite present day males. First time I saw him I was impressed and that belief never changed until he passed at much too young an age. Tabu was a structually correct dog, strong topline, nice neck length, tight feet, great angles. This boy was seldom ignored by judges who often commented on his solid balanced movement. He also went herding with Lynn Leach at her Down River Farms. He was a keen working dog. I have a strong desire to be able to keep these attributes in the breed by breeding to Tabu’s get.

Tabu was an all-breed Best In Show winner in Canada - he won 1st in the Herding Group all 3 days the same weekend that he took BIS.  Tabu is the first Canadian bred ACD to win BIS in Canada.  He also won BISS (Best In Show Specialty) at the 2005 Canadian ACD National Specialty thus the titles CKC BIS/BISS
and to add to those lofty accomplishments he added Best In Show at the 2005 American 2005 National Specialty held in Washington state.  Sadly, a few months later Tabu passed over the bridge.  Very few dogs have garnered the win of BIS  at National Specialties in 2 countried.

As for his dam, Jayda was also very respected and simply a beautiful moving gal. She was shown very limitedly in the USA, finished quickly handled by Chris Ann Moore. In Canada, shown by Larry Clark,  she won WB and BOS her first weekend out at the 2004 Canadian National from the puppy class over older entries and Specials. She almost finished that weekend. She did not show again until the next Canadian National and once again won WB and BOS to finish her title. She was not shown again until the Canadian National in 2007 and was the only entry to garner a Award Of Merit with some of the top US dogs there.

Icee himself came down from Canada in 2009 for the Jan. Cascade ACD Specialty and won WD at the Specialty and for the 2 shows following..finished that weekend with all majors. Like both his parents his strong points are having very balanced movement, a solid topline, correct structure and the attitude to win. He was handled by Beth Hilborn for these wins. I am excited that Jane & Albert are allowing me to breed Cher to this boy.

Cher herself has not yet been in the show arena. She will be going out after her litter and she gets back into shape. I was very pleased with the litter that Cher came from. She is out of a male I Imported from Cheryl Edwards of Turrella kennels. Ch Turrella Blue Panda Bear... he finished in just a few shows handled by Penny King. He is a strikingly handsome boy who now lives with Frieda Young of Tulsa, Okla.  I loved Panda's pedigree and his breeding to my Leah has some very nice youngsters. I am expecting all blues, likely some speckles and pups with great temperments.

Cher traveled to Canada and has been bred.  Look for pups around mid April 2010
DOLLY DID NOT TAKE THIS TIME -
WE WILL TRY AGAIN NEXT SEASON

CH RENEGADE N WAGTAIL YOU CAN LOOK HT  (AKA Stevie Ray)

Stevie Ray had many reasons to celebrate his visit to the PNW for the January Rose City Cluster and the Cascade ACD club's bi-annual Specialty.  Lynda White came and she and her dogs conquered all that show!!

CH RENEGADE N WAGTAIL YOU CAN LOOK HT (Stevie Ray) went BOB from the Veterans class over several other nice Specials.  In sweeps he won Best Veteran 7 and under 10 then went on to garner Best Veteran in Sweeps!!    His son WAGTAIL BLU WURRA-WILBEROO BRUISER won Best Junior in Sweeps and then like his sire he won Best In Sweeps!!  Stevie Ray is owned by Lynda White & Joyce Rowland & C. Easley and bred by  C. Easley & Joyce Rowland

The regular classes were judged by Leigh Ann Yandle of HollowLog ACDs.  Her winners dog - Best of winners - best bred-by  was the same WAGTAIL BLU WURRA-WILBEROO BRUISER  who won Best in Sweeps.  Not to let up in the competiton Lynda also garnered WB with a Angus daughter.  Afterwards Stevie Ray got together with Dolly for their own celebration and hopefully we will be having pupsters around mid-March 2010!!

Thanks to Lynda and Joyce for the opportunity to breed to this boy. I have always admired the dogs I see Lynda have...her breeding program is one of the most consistent I know of!!
