Buck was a real joy to live with and as he got past his teenage years we sent him to do some herding training with Lynn Leach. Was the best decision we made, those two bonded and Buck ended up living with Lynn and trialing successfully. They went on to earn herding titles in the AKC, ASCA, AHBA, and CKC. They also competed in the BCSDA sanctioned cattle trial series held in 100 Mile House. Lynn says " We competed against mostly border collies and did fairly well, which I was incredibly proud of!" Buck had many HITs and RHITs along the way, Sadly due to a tragic event Buck passed over the bridge at only 3 years of age, not yet mature and with many years of trialing still to go. He has passed on his instincts to his pups plus his joy of living attitude, I get contacted all the time about the solid temperament of his pups.  I only have 1 or 2 breedings available from Buck left and very few of his sons are still available

His dam CH GetGo's Austlyn{eaches N cream, PT went on to produce many performance and CH titled kids and his litter sister has done the same. His dam Sara (CH GetGo's Austlyn Peaches N Cream, PT - is the only female to garner top producing awards from the ACDCA for FIVE years in a row!!!)    I  used frozen semen from Buck for the first time 2 years ago and he had a litter of  9 and another litter of 8 pups. These pups all show great promise on livestock and several will also do conformation and other perforancne venues. Buck was also bred to a awesome bitch from Jeff & Linda Jaquish of Sidekick ACDs and those pups have also been very successful in many venues. Contact me for more information on Buck and his pups. I have very few breedings available from Buck.   The dogs in this pedigree have all passed over the bridge and very few were saved for newer generations to be able to incorporate into their breeding program.

This boy came to us from Lori Pruitt of DuWest ACDs.  He was Stan's first dog to try and learn about herding with.  For his first few years Stan and he traveled and trained  - what instinct this boy had.  Stan and Cole spent 2+ years going to seminars and lessons as often as possible.  We had several offers to take him into the trials for us he was that good -- but Stan had wanted to trial him himself.   Cole was the first and only one of 2 times he stepped into a show ring, with Cole he was entered in a large class for Best Headed male at the 2000 ACDCA Nationals and he and Cole won overall best headed dog with 51 entries at the show -- Kim Griffith was the Properties judge, it was one of Stan's fondest memories.  I only have photos for the first 3 years of Coles life while Cole lived with Stan and myself.

Sadly Cole was actually too much dog for Stan to begin with in herding as Stan was the total novice and Cole was a natural.  He was placed with
Kathy Buetow Branson of Katwala ACDs and became Colby.  Kathy put his Ch title on him and Larry Painter his herding titles.  Colby became Kathy's close companion and service dog when she developed back problems.

He was bred once here to CH GetGo Austlyn's Peaches N Cream, PT and sired a very nice litter.   All the pups having very strong drive, not for the novice cattle dog owner.    He was our first dog the we collected and I had hoped to use him to the right female.  Due to health problems my breeding days are being cut short and I will not be able to use this semen.  I feel that Colby would have a great influence if you were looking for strong drive in your breeding.  Contact me for information.

Buck garnered many HITS - High In Trials
Edi lives outside of Reno, Nv with Jean Larrieu.  He is a Lessa son and Lessa was dam (along with her Mom Sara) of the majority of the pups we produced that went on to excel in performance, herding and the show ring.  Edi has excelled in his trials often with top scores and placements.  He was shown in UKC and did quite well but sadly Jean decided not  to continue on in competition.    Jean also did not want an intact male with the females she had so I decided to collect him.  His brother and several others also have rated excellent in hips via both OFA and PennHip.  Edi is a bit of a clown and quite intelligent with a wonderful personality.  Eager to learn and do, he also excelled in his tricks training classes and is a grand representative of the breed in both temperament and personality plus a splash of attitude!   If looking to add proven lines for performance and more contact us about Edi.       Edi is one of the very few available breedings from a son of Lessa.

This is Buck's litter sister Lessa (Ch Austlyn's Bold As Brass) at 12 years of age winning Select Bitch at the CACDC Area Specialty over top ranked bitches and also won BEST IN Sweeps Veterans in Regular Class and Sweepstakes.
"Reba"  CKC Ch Austlyn Ksenia Song For Poppa, from a recent Buck breeding via semen.

Here she is going BOB and then on to Group FOUR in the regular judging. Then added a BEST PUPPY IN GROUP!

In her short career, Handled by Ashley Loitz Reba won Group One Baby 3 times and BIS Baby 2 times.
Ad I put together for the Quarterly years ago showing off the litter Cole had with our Sara.  Of the 4 pictured, 3 finished their Champion title and one went on to garner several agility titles. Doc was a full time working dog in Canada as was another in Oregon.
